Partial Equilibrium Modeling

Meet GABE—the Global Agricultural and Biofuels Partial Equilibrium Model—WAEES's proprietary, industry-leading partial equilibrium system. GABE simulates more than 25,000 equations across 48 countries and regions, covering 36 international commodities and 16 additional U.S.-specific sectors, including crops, livestock, and biofuels.

Built to reflect real-world complexity, the model integrates policy frameworks, macroeconomic indicators, crude oil prices, technology adoption, and historical data. Outputs include projections to 2040 for area, yield, production, consumption, trade, stocks, and prices—updated through our quarterly baselines.

WAEES conducts multiple scenario analyses per year, analyzing policy shifts, technological changes, market volatility, and climate variability. GABE's outputs empower clients to visualize quantitative impacts of alternative scenarios to make more informed strategic decisions.
