Marty Foreman

Marty has over 40 years of experience as an agricultural economist and commodity market analyst. He has been with WAEES since March 2023. He contributes to WAEES’s research, analysis and client reports.

Prior to WAEES, he worked as an instructor at the University of Missouri where he was responsible for teaching courses focused on agricultural commodity marketing, procurement and trading. Prior to the University, most of his career was spent producing commodity outlook and risk management strategies for a range of clients from agricultural producers, food manufacturers and restaurant chains as well as long-term forecasts for agricultural input suppliers and financial institutions.

Marty holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in agricultural economics from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from Illinois State University.
